Creative Connections Competition

Creative Connections Competition is a creative content competition where you can share your perspectives on the theme through a poem, short story, script, song or article if you enjoy writing.  For the more artistic you might share a drawing, poster or photograph. Or for those who prefer more digital methods you could send us a podcast or short film clip.
 
  • The theme is ‘reducing loneliness and isolation through promoting positive wellbeing and creating connection with others’. The competition is open from 1st to 31st March 2021
  • Age range for entries  11 – 25 years
  • The competition is being organised and promoted by Youth Action who are the local youth voice and social action group for young people aged 11-25 years in North East Lincolnshire they are part of the national Young Advisors network and this work is funded through Lottery funding for the #TheTogetherproject
  • There is no restriction on word count for the writing but a suggestion of upto 1000 words might help you in planning.  Written pieces should be sent on a word document.
  • Photographs should be saved as JPEG format
  • Your designs can be sent within the entry form.  If hand drawn and photographed, the original can be organised for publishing use at the end of the competition. The upload option will be displayed at the very end of this form.
  • Finalists will get their work published as part of an anthology and some will be selected for a number of prizes including Love2Shop Vouchers, membership to Hammond House Writers for a year and more.
